Position: Assistant Quality Manager Location: [Midlands]

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Quality Manager to join our team. As the Assistant Quality Manager, you will work closely with the Quality Manager to ensure compliance with quality standards, implement quality improvement initiatives, and drive continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Quality Manager in developing and implementing quality management systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
  • Monitor key quality metrics and prepare reports for management review.
  • Support in the training and development of employees on quality-related topics.
  • Participate in customer audits and address any quality concerns raised by customers.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, or related discipline).
  • 2-3 years of experience in a quality role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001 or similar standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
