Job Title: Deputy Quality Manager
Location: Midlands
Job Description:
Summary: The Deputy Quality Manager is a crucial role within our client's organisation, responsible for supporting and assisting the Quality Manager in maintaining and improving the quality management system. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring that our products/services meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance: Work closely with the Quality Manager to develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures.
Compliance: Assist in ensuring the company's compliance with relevant quality standards and regulations.
Team Management: Supervise and guide the quality control team, providing leadership and support to ensure consistent quality performance.
Documentation: Maintain and update quality documentation, including quality manuals, SOPs, and work instructions.
Auditing: Support in conducting internal and external quality audits to identify areas for improvement.
Problem Resolution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Training: Assist in the development and implementation of quality training programs for employees.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance quality processes and product/service quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Quality Management, Engineering, or related).
- 4 years of experience in quality related role with people management experience.
- Knowledge of quality management standards (ISO 9001, etc.).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills.
