My client is a well-known, Irish brand, a house-hold name. Over the past few years they have fully embraced an Omni-channel business strategy and they see digital as one of the key touchpoints, not just for their consumers but also their trade customers. 

They are now seeking experienced talent to support them in that digital journey as they are soon to launch a global trade eCommerce platform.

Purpose of Role:  

Work closely with the customer marketing team based in Ireland, as well as liaison with the wider European and global teams to define and implement the local Ireland marketing strategy for the trade ecommerce platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with global counterparts to manage compelling content and upload activation content onto the platform
  • Define and implement local user acquisition strategy including production of all local materials
  • Manage local content strategy including on-site, social and newsletter content, augmenting the European calendar with local events and content
  • Manage customer segmentation rules on the platform
  • Design, create & execute newsletters and email marketing campaigns to engage customers and drive usage of the platform
  • Manage the local Advertising & Promotional budget
  • Create / manage local FAQs content
  • Define and manage local marketing KPIs and ongoing performance measurement and evaluation

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • 3-4 years Digital Customer Marketing experience– ideally gained in a B2B eCommerce environment
  • Experience of managing agencies and writing creative briefs
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Highly creative with experience in audience segmentation and optimizing user funnels to devise targeted digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Managing and optimizing off-line marketing campaigns
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Experience of managing budgets
  • Experience using Salesforce reports, BPM performance reports, Mail Chimp and Market Logic
  • Effective stakeholder management - working with and managing multiple stakeholders both internal and external agencies with the ability to prioritise often conflicting requirements, escalate issues and drive to resolution
  • Fluent English required and proficiency in a second European language is highly desirable
