My client a well-established, privately-owned environmental consultancy company with a strong presence nationally, serving a diverse client base including large SMEs and global leaders in life science and FMCG manufacturing. Our expertise spans various sectors, including residential, commercial, industrial, retail, leisure, education, and healthcare. We are expanding and looking for a dynamic and experienced Energy & Sustainability Consultant to lead our new department.

Role and Responsibilities: As our Energy & Sustainability Consultant, you will have the opportunity to shape and grow a new department within our organization. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading energy and sustainability projects for a broad range of clients.
• Producing energy and sustainability statements and strategies.
• Conducting energy audits and assessments.
• Supporting the production of environmental assessments.
• Assisting in business development efforts and market awareness.
• Providing technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams from project inception to completion.

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you should possess:

• A BSc/BEng in Sustainability/Environmental/Surveying/Building Services Disciplines or a related field.
• Relevant industry experience.
• Qualifications such as Chartered Energy Engineer, Certified Energy Manager, Certified Energy Auditor, Energy Assessor, Low Carbon Consultant, or similar.
• Proven leadership on energy projects and completed energy audits.
• Innovative thinking combined with commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
