This is a full-time 14-month fixed term contract role and offer hybrid working options based out of our client's site in Dublin.

What will you do in this job?

  • Evolve a strong, employee engagement and employer brand communications strategy that aligns with the needs of the business unit as well as the work of Employee Engagement & Communications team and central people function
  • Support communications planning, development and delivery of key external communications initiatives relating to recruitment, hiring and employer brand
  • Utilize creative flair to develop innovative content - including written word, video, animated content
  • Support strategic people initiatives that improve employee experience and engagement across the company
  • Develop, support, and improve internal communications channels and processes, with the aim of providing the best possible mix to the audience
  • Work with the cross-company Employee Engagement & Communications Team on the company wide communications initiatives
  • Continually engage with industry best practice and bring this back into strategy and plans for the business
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of all business unit communications strategy activity, including - communications platforms, policies, procedures, and practices - in order to maximize successful outcomes/identify areas for continual improvement



What do you need to be successful in this job?

  • Hold a 3rd level qualification in a relevant field - Communications, Marketing, and Psychology, PR or similarly complementary field
  • Experience in a relevant communications role - internal communications, PR, employee engagement, digital marketing
  • Previous experience working with/supporting senior leadership communications
  • Strong social skills, particularly networking, collaboration, active listening and influencing/negotiation
  • Excellent English skills - both written and verbal, including a facility for storytelling and the ability to translate complex information into more simplistic English
  • Extensive experience in content management systems, social media and Microsoft Office Suite. Digital communications will be a requirement of this role
