Job Title: EHS Manager

Position Overview:

Our client, a global manufacturing organisation within the FMCG industry, is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join their team. This critical role is responsible for maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards across the site. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will have one direct report and will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance and promoting a culture of safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the EHS function across the manufacturing facility.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain and improve ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular EHS audits and risk assessments.
• Provide EHS training and support to employees.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Promote a proactive safety culture within the organisation.
• Report on EHS performance to senior management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading an EHS function in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Relevant EHS qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
