QC Instrumentation Engineer

We are currently seeking a QC Instrumentation Senior Engineer to join a leading biologics site in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-performing GMP environment, supporting critical laboratory instrumentation and contributing to the delivery of life-changing biopharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of QC laboratory instruments including purchase, installation, qualification, calibration, and maintenance
- Execute and support instrument qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) in line with GMP requirements
- Coordinate and perform instrument calibration, maintenance scheduling, and performance tracking
- Lead and support deviations, investigations, and documentation related to instrumentation
- Collaborate with QC, QA Validation, and CSV teams to deliver new instrument implementation
- Ensure compliance with data integrity standards (21 CFR Part 11 / EU Annex 11)
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex instrumentation issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and development of procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a GMP laboratory, including instrument qualification
- Strong knowledge of biopharmaceutical analytical techniques (HPLC/UPLC, CE, cIEF, SDS-PAGE, etc.)
- Understanding of data integrity and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
