A leading global consultancy with a specialisation in procurement technology and services are about to open a Dublin office to service their growing client base. This organisation will undergo significant head count growth and expansion based within the EMEA region based on current client needs and business projections. As a result they are looking to hire a senior procurement professional with extensive indirect procurement experience and strong commercial acumen to join their newly established Dublin office.

• This role will report into a regional director and be primarily focused on managing regional indirect procurement of logistics services for a significant global client of the organisation.
• The consultancy’s client is going significant transformation and expansion  within their global product portfolio and as a result they have had significant growth in their logistics and distribution global network and need to re-engineer the regional procurement strategy within this category.
• This role will also require the individual to be customer centric and deliver best in class customer  service to all the consultancy’s clients.
• While the main focus of this role will be focused on procuring logistics services for one particular client in the short to medium term , there will also be a requirement to assist in other client’s procurement needs with a strong focus on both commercial and professional services.

Ideally degree qualified with 5-7 year indirect procurement experience within logistics and distribution

Regional or Global indirect procurement experience is preferred.

FMCG sector experience would be a distinct advantage.
