A global organisation within headcount in excess of 150,000 and manufacturing operations across the globe has set up a headquarters in Ireland. This market leader delivers into a global customer base across a wide range of industries including automotive, healthcare and technology. A key part of their global headquarters is the setup of a global procurement teams across both direct materials and services. As part of the ongoing growth of this function they are looking to hire a global category manager in technology services:

• You will report into global procurement director and will be primarily focused managing contracts within technology services

• You will be focused on managing global spends across technology services supporting infrastructure, networks and applications

• You will be strong on contract negotiation and management across multiple projects in sourcing technology services as the organisation goes through significant transformation within their global technology processes.

• You focused on managing multiple vendors at global and regional level within the technology services group and ideally have experience of managing global spends inn excess of €100-200 million across multiple categories within technology services.

• You will have experience at leading negotiations at a global and regional level with global technology vendors.

• You will be degree qualified with 5-7 years global procurement experience within technology and/or professional services
