A leading global healthcare organisation who have grown massively by acquisition in recent years are undergoing significant transformation within  the global procurement function and need to recruit a senior global commodity manager to assist with this continued growth and expansion :

• Reporting into a Global Procurement Director this role will be focused on implementing procurement strategies for commodities and direct materials.
• This role will require the individual to develop strategic relationships with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency is delivered with no risk of supply.
• Another key focus of this role will be to consistently rationalise the global supply base as the organisation continues to grow through acquisition.
• This role will also require the candidate to strategically source suppliers within the commodities they manage as the organisation continues to grow their product portfolio to combat against risk of supply and ensure cost savings.

Degree qualification with ten years plus global procurement experience ideally with medical devices, electronics or automotive sectors

Commodity management across metals  plastics or packaging would be an advantage
