Job Opportunity: Global Director Supply Chain

Join a leading global pharmaceutical company as we expand our external manufacturing network! We're seeking an accomplished professional to join us as an Global Director Supply Chain. This pivotal role will focus on managing end to end supply chain across an outsorced global supply chain. This role has remote and hybrid working processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the cross-functional, enterprise-wide demand and supply business management process to ensure focus, alignment, and synchronization.
  • Head the S&OP Core Team, responsible for developing, documenting, maturing, and executing the company's S&OP business process.
  • Develop and implement robust and effective business processes and systems for ensuring continuity of supply, inventory management, and capacity planning.
  • Take charge of the supply chain in the weekly cross-functional Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) business process, ensuring coordinated, prioritized, and appropriate action in response to manufacturing or supply issues and risks.
  • Lead the supply chain aspect of the Network Risk Management program, evaluating network supply risks and establishing and delivering remediation strategies/plans to enhance supply chain robustness.
  • Establish KPIs, scorecards, and management oversight for suppliers, addressing poor supplier performance issues as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Extensive experience in supply chain management within the pharmaceutical or related industry.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of demand and supply planning principles, S&OP processes, and inventory management.
