Global Planning Manager
Location: Dublin (Hybrid)
Contract: Permanent
A global healthcare manufacturer is seeking an experienced Global Planning Manager to lead and optimise end-to-end supply planning processes across international markets.
The Opportunity
The Global Planning Manager will oversee global supply planning, ensuring that markets receive uninterrupted supply while maintaining optimal inventory levels. The role requires strong people leadership, deep planning expertise and the ability to manage complexity across multiple regions, suppliers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Supply Planning
Lead global supply planning cycles to ensure consistent product availability across all markets.
Manage inventory targets, monitor risks and implement corrective actions where required.
Drive continuous improvement across planning processes, systems and data accuracy.
Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
Own the execution of IBP drumbeat activities across global markets.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure supply, demand and financial plans are aligned.
Provide inputs into SOE and S&OP forums, presenting risks, scenarios and recommendations.
People Leadership
Manage and develop a team of supply planners, providing coaching, performance management and skills development.
Ensure the team delivers high-quality reporting, analysis and communication.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Act as primary contact for market clusters, managing escalations and issue resolution.
Work with suppliers to minimise disruption and strengthen supply resilience.
Planning Excellence & Analytics
Lead planning reviews, monitor performance trends and implement best practice.
Oversee the creation of timely supply reports for senior leaders.
Recommend strategies for improving service, inventory and cost performance.
Experience & Skills Required
5-7+ years' supply planning experience at global or regional level within FMCG, healthcare or other high-volume environments.
Proven leadership experience, managing and developing planning teams.
Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply planning across multiple markets.
IBP / S&OP experience is a distinct advantage (SAP IBP ideal).
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, demand planning and forecasting.
