QC STRATEGY SPECIALIST

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement processes to achieve alignment and drive consensus on key analytical strategies, such as laboratory instrumentation use and maintenance, instrument report standardization, reconstitution practices, reagent expiry, method execution, and movement of results in the QC laboratory.

  • Author global procedures to support analytical strategies, including development of training materials, assignment of training audiences, and execution of implementation plans.

  • Maintain a RAID log to support decision-making, action tracking, and risk communication.

  • Participate in governance forums to support decision-making, endorsement, and harmonization efforts.

  • Deliver gap assessments, risk assessments, and financial assessments to support the definition of business cases for analytical strategies.

  • Support external benchmarking to ensure alignment with industry standards.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory expectations and filed dossiers.

General and Leadership Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or related field (advanced degree preferred).

  • 8+ years in Quality and Compliance, with direct QC experience.

  • Expertise in analytical methods and commercial method lifecycle, including in-process, release, and stability testing.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, cGMP/GDP, and application to product quality investigations.

  • Experience with EDMS and working in cross-functional, matrix teams.

  • Proven track record in delivering results, compliance activities, and strategic initiatives.

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and understanding of enterprise-wide impact.

  • Ability to lead complex programs and build trusted relationships across divisions and cultures.

  • Sound judgment, data-driven decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and maintains high performance standards.

  • Effective at planning, prioritizing, and executing tasks to achieve objectives.
