Job Title: Global Procurement Manager - Indirect Procurement

Our client, a leading organisation, is seeking a highly skilled Global Procurement Manager with extensive experience in indirect procurement, particularly within professional and commercial services, including HR. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing procurement on a global or regional scale and thrive in a matrix environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Indirect Procurement Leadership: Lead and manage the procurement of professional and commercial services, with a focus on HR-related services.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimise cost, quality, and service for indirect procurement categories.
  • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high service levels and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively within a matrix environment, collaborating with various departments to understand and meet their procurement needs.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations to secure favourable terms and conditions with suppliers.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on procurement performance, including cost savings, supplier performance, and compliance with procurement policies.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Extensive experience in global or regional procurement, specifically within indirect procurement and professional/commercial services, with a strong emphasis on HR.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Environment: Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and manage cross-functional relationships.
  • Expertise: Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop strategic procurement plans.
