H&S Manager

My client, a leading pharmaceutical company based in Co. Dublin, is looking for a H&S Manager who will join and lead the H&S team and will support functional areas within the company by providing advice on a range of Health and Safety issues, sharing best practices with colleagues and driving continuous improvement on-site.

This is a permanent (full-time) job based in Co. Dublin with some flexibility to work from home offered.

What will you do in this job?

• You will lead and support initiatives to increase Health and Safety efficiency.

• You will manage the Health and Safety Management System.

• You will support the site behavioural safety program.

• You will be responsible for compliance monitoring; chemical approvals & Bio safety; industrial hygiene, ergonomics; project management; emergency organization, first aid and incident investigation.

• You will manage systems, risk assessment, business continuity, crisis management and auditing.

What do you need to be successful in this job?

• You hold a 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline.

• You have 8+ years of experience in H&S roles in the FMCG industry.

• You have the ability to influence, lead teams and promote a team environment.
