Job Title: Head of Warehouse Operations

Company Overview: Join a rapidly expanding indigenous FMCG operation undergoing an exciting and rapid phase of growth. We are partnering with our client who are dedicated to delivering excellence in warehouse operations and are seeking a dynamic individual to lead their team to new heights.

Position Overview: As the Head of Operations Manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of our fast-paced FMCG warehouse operation. The ideal candidate should energetic and enthusiastic individual with strong expertise in warehouse management to drive efficiency, productivity, and change across the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the warehouse team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Manage budgets effectively to ensure optimal resource allocation and cost control.
• Oversee Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to streamline processes and enhance operational effectiveness.
• Drive Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer demands and exceed expectations.
• Implement and oversee performance metrics to monitor and evaluate warehouse performance.
• Actively participate in recruitment, training, and development activities to build a high-performing team.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements to drive innovation and maintain competitiveness.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven track record of leadership in complex pick and pack warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in FMCG warehouse management.
• Experience in leading transformational change initiatives within warehouse operations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field are desirable.

Location: This role is based on-site in Kilkenny and requires full-time availability (5 days a week).
