Human Resources Business Partner (Maternity Cover)

This 12 Month contract for a HR Business Partner in an excellent operation that are in the manufacturing industry and in a state of growth. This role in particular will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work with all the Senior Management onsite through taking full ownership of the HR function onsite.

Responsibilities:

  • To take full ownership of the Recruitment process
  • Manage all Employee Relations and engagement
  • Continuous improvement projects to deliver on the overall business strategy
  • Promote Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, Environmental, and Quality policies
  • To create an employer brand in the market place
  • Maintain and build upon relationships and visibility with educational establishments
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process
  • Coordinate the organisation of pre-employment tasks and induction for new employees
  • Generate and share people metrics with the key stakeholders in the business on a monthly basis
  • Maintain and update the HRIS system
  • Deal with day to day administration of the function and strive to improve processes in this area.
  • Work with employees and managers to provide coaching and support to meet the needs of the business
  • Take a lean approach to all tasks to ensure that they address the needs of the internal and external customer and add value to the business

Key Experience and Qualifications

  • Must have a qualification in Human Resources
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar human resources role
  • Must have a passion for human resources, continuous improvement and keen business awareness
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English both written and verbal
  • Preference for experience in a unionised manufacturing background
