Here's a sneak peek at your thrilling responsibilities:

• Navigating Shipments: You'll be the captain of our ship, ensuring precise transport cost estimation in our TMS system. Charge codes, financial ledger/cost center coding - it's your playground, with accurate dates, volumes, and reference indicators as your trusty crew.
• Informing the Masses: Stakeholders, get ready! You'll provide transport information to Transport regional managers, Carriers, 3PLs, and even your fellow employees. Smooth sailing all the way!
• Sherlock-ing Queries: Think of yourself as the Sherlock Holmes of our Control Tower. Review, assess, and respond to queries and correspondence via our control tower shared mailbox.
• Invoice Juggling: Take those Freight Invoices, integrate them into our TMS system, and make sure they're cozy with their corresponding shipments. Missing costs or charge codes? You've got it covered!
• Invoice Auditing Extravaganza: Time to audit those freight invoices like a pro. Control Tower guidelines and rules? Check. Detecting charge discrepancies? Piece of cake.
• Reasoning with Invoices: When invoices misbehave, you'll register their discrepancies with reason codes and reason descriptions. Diplomacy at its finest!
• Document Wizardry: Your organizational skills shine as you register documents and supporting material into our Transport Management System. It's like filing secrets in a treasure chest!
• Control Tower Conventions: Join the weekly dispute call with Regional Transportation Managers, where you'll collectively tackle aging disputes and secure approvals for excellent costs.
• Supplier Liaison: Communicate directly with Freight Suppliers via email and even Microsoft Teams video calls. You're the bridge between invoices and resolutions.
• Number Crunching: Reconciliations are your playground - Supplier's statements, Transport Management system reports, and SAP are no match for your expertise.
• Boosting Projects: Support Control Tower project teams for continuous improvement and preventive action.
• Daily Pow-Wows: Attend daily Control Tower team virtual video calls and on-site meetings as required. You're part of an incredible crew!

In terms of your superpowers:

• 3rd level business qualification or relevant experience
• Some knowledge in Supply Chain.
• Global Freight Forwarding experience
• Competent with Windows, MS Excel, and MS Word.
