NPD Manager - Location: Dublin

We are partnering with a leading food ingredients business to appoint an experienced NPD Manager. You will lead innovation across meat, bakery, and snacking, turning customer needs into commercially viable ingredient solutions from concept to launch.

What you will do

  • Own the full NPD cycle for multi sector ingredient blends, from brief to commercialisation
  • Partner with customers to translate requirements into product matches and new concepts
  • Lead and mentor a team of food technologists and scientists
  • Manage a project portfolio with clear timelines, resources, and budgets
  • Oversee pilot trials and factory scale ups, ensuring technical robustness
  • Ensure compliance with Irish and EU regulations and support accurate claims and labelling
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to align innovation with market trends

What you bring

  • Degree or masters in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years in NPD within food ingredients, with depth in at least two of meat, bakery, or snacking
  • Strong grasp of ingredient functionality and manufacturing processes
  • Proven people leadership, project management, and commercial awareness
  • Solid knowledge of food safety and quality systems such as HACCP and BRC
