Job Title: New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Manager
Location: Westmeath, Ireland
12 Month Contract initially

Overview:
Our client are seeking an experienced and dynamic New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Manager to join the team at a leading global food manufacturing company based in Westmeath. This is a pivotal role in driving the successful launch of new products, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, including Manufacturing, Finance, Innovation, and Commercial departments, to bring new products from concept to market.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand customer briefs and ensure all project activities are aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
Timeline & Budget Management: Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring all milestones are met and projects stay on track. Monitor project budgets, managing resources efficiently to meet financial targets.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project objectives are achieved without compromising quality or deadlines.
Process Improvement: Continuously review and refine NPI processes to enhance efficiency, reduce time-to-market, and improve product quality.
Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, providing regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders on project status, risks, and outcomes.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all new products meet the company's quality standards and comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
Post-Launch Review: Lead post-launch evaluations to assess project success, identify areas for improvement, and capture lessons learned for future projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Food Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing new product introduction projects within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to drive cross-functional teams towards common goals.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in project management tools and software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of product development processes and a solid understanding of the food manufacturing environment.
