Position: Part Qualified Accountant
Location: Dublin 22
Reporting to: Finance Director
This role is based on site in West Dublin 5 days a week, with hybrid working options offered after probation is complete.
Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Finance Director and collaborating with the wider Senior Management Team, the Part Qualified Accountant will play a crucial role in the financial management of the business. The successful candidate will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare Monthly Accounts, including meticulous account reconciliations.
- Deliver reports within tight deadlines, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Treasury Management:
- Develop and maintain a weekly/fortnightly rolling 8-week cash flow budget.
- Manage working capital facilities, with a specific focus on Accounts Payable, coordinating payments for vessels in conjunction with Irish-based suppliers.
FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis):
- Assist in the development of analysis and reporting using CRM, MS Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools.
- Provide Traders and other functional teams with timely financial data and analysis upon request.
Financial/Cost Modelling:
- Collaborate in financial and cost modelling for Capital Projects, Investment options, and other company projects.
Day-to-Day Finance Operations:
- Manage Accounts Receivable, process invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Conduct bank lodgments and handle company credit card expenses.
Tax Compliance:
- Prepare and file monthly, bi-monthly, and quarterly VAT, Intrastat, and VIES returns with Revenue and HMRC
Requirements:
- Accounting related Degree/Qualification, ideally part-qualified
- Proven experience in financial reporting, treasury management, and financial planning and analysis
- Strong proficiency in CRM, MS Excel, Power BI, and other relevant tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work efficiently within a dynamic team
