Job Title: Planner I
Location: Dublin 15
Reporting to: Site Materials Manager
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Planner I for our Dublin location. As a Planner I, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimising transportation and materials flow to ensure efficient operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the customer interface for the demand plan and shipment information.
- Developing a feasible operational plan and ensuring its execution to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Assisting in developing a Master Production Schedule (MPS) to maximise operation capacity and attain stock levels.
- Monitoring production progress and ensuring customer orders meet targeted completion times.
- Coordinating material delivery to meet production schedules.
- Supporting new product development introduction through effective demand and supply planning.
- Coordinating the production workflow for one or multiple products.
- Coordinating the delivery and movement of critical materials.
- Managing and resolving concerns regarding schedules, part shortages, and expedites.
- Supporting key planning metrics, including on-time delivery (OTD) and inventory management.
Person Specification:
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with the following qualifications and skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in the English language is a requirement alongside eligibility to work in Ireland.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines.
- A "can do" work ethic with excellent problem-solving skills.
Essential Criteria:
- Primary degree in business/ supply chain.
- 1-2 years of experience working in a materials role/ inventory controller/ planning role.
- Previous industry experience in food, electronics, aerospace or automotive is advantageous.
- Analytical skills and the ability to make data-based decisions.
- IT skills, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills and experience with MRP/ERP systems.
