Process Engineering Manager
Location: South Leinster

A leading manufacturing facility in South Leinster is seeking to appoint a Process Engineering Manager to lead a high-impact portfolio of projects across process improvement, capital investment, R&D, and manufacturing support. This is a senior engineering role with significant scope, driving operational excellence across a complex, large-volume production site.
About the Role:
This is a cross-functional leadership role where you'll act as the site's process engineering subject matter expert. You'll be instrumental in advancing key manufacturing and strategic objectives through project delivery, process development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver multi-million-euro capital and process improvement projects across production, R&D, scale-up, and utility systems.
- Manage cross-functional project teams and external contractors/consultants through full project life cycle-from scope and tendering to commissioning and close-out.
- Support and lead process development and technology transfer projects to enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Provide ongoing technical and operational support across production and technical teams.
- Develop and justify capital investment plans, supporting business growth, sustainability, and innovation.
Ideal Candidate:
- Degree-qualified in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment-ideally in beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical or ingredients production.
- Proven track record in delivering capital and process improvement projects involving cross-functional teams and significant spend.
- Experience with process safety regulations and automation/instrumentation systems (PLC, DeviceNet, ControlNet, etc.).
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
