Role Overview:
Our client, a dynamic financial services company, is seeking a seasoned Procurement Consultant to join their team on an 8-month contract basis. This role presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a forward-thinking organization on a significant procurement initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead negotiations and manage contracts effectively, ensuring optimal terms and conditions.
• Provide strategic guidance on procurement processes and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and objectives.
• Conduct market analysis and supplier evaluations to inform decision-making.
• Manage vendor relationships and performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Support procurement activities related to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and infrastructure projects.
• Drive cost savings and efficiency gains through effective procurement strategies.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in procurement, with a proven track record of negotiating contracts.
• Strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
• Ideally, exposure to ICT and infrastructure-related procurement activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic mindset, with the ability to drive initiatives and deliver results.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Relevant qualifications in procurement or a related field would be advantageous.

Reporting Structure:
This role will report directly to the Head of Procurement and will operate with a high level of autonomy.

Contract Duration:
8 months, with potential for extension based on project needs and performance.
