We are hiring a Production Manager who will report to the Operations Manager for a leading brand within FMCG industry. This role is crucial, requiring the successful candidate to manage and coordinate all production activities. Key responsibilities include driving continuous improvement and efficiency while upholding quality and safety standards. The Production Manager will need to achieve objectives in various areas including safety, quality, waste reduction, cost control, and team management.

Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for the end-to-end operation of the Production Department, ensuring all activities meet required standards.
• Maintain consistent product quality standards and ensure compliance with BRC audits.
• Promote a Safety-First culture across the facility and ensure full health and safety compliance.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of information in the SAP system, maintaining high standards of documentation.
• Motivate and support Production Supervisors to achieve objectives and promote Lean Six Sigma Principles.
• Prepare and analyse weekly and monthly Production KPIs, monitoring operating results against budget.
• Manage labour costings, raw material ordering, and stock control processes.
• Directly interact with suppliers as required to ensure smooth procurement processes.
• Lead and execute projects within the Production Department to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance reviews to team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Address HR and disciplinary matters within the department promptly and effectively.
• Conduct regular hygiene inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of production management experience.
• Relevant third-level qualification; Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and dedication to career progression.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
• Passionate about promoting health and safety culture across the facility.
• Ability to manage production on a 3-cycle shift pattern, including weekends during peak periods.
• Capable of working within and leading multi-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and proficiency in data analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office applications.
