QA Engineer

My client, a data analytics company based in Dublin City centre are looking to hire an experienced QA Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative, passionate and highly technical QA team operating in an agile environment.

The Role:

• Ensuring the quality of industry leading financial and enterprise core product features
• Working within an agile software development lifecycle to test new product features
• Using scripting and programing skills to automate tests using Python
• Designing test strategies using Test/QA best practice

What You Need:

• BSc. in Computer Science or related discipline
• 3 years professional years relevant industry experience
• Strong scripting/programming skills using Python
• Experience in testing virtualization/cloud based solutions/products
• Experience with Linux /Unix OSes
• Good knowledge of manual and automated testing
• Good working knowledge of IP networking protocols and systems
• Industry certifications such as CCNA/CCNP highly desirable
• Industry certifications in virtualization and cloud technologies such as VMWare, AWS highly desirable
• Experience in manual and automated testing on backend and web applications
