Position Title: Quality Assistant (Hybrid)
Reporting to: Quality Manager
Location: Co. Wicklow
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our Quality Team as a Quality Assistant. The primary objective of this role is to provide crucial support to the Quality Manager in ensuring the timely and accurate dissemination of information to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Maintain compliance with our internal Quality Management System by effectively managing and administering documents, records, and procedures.
- Uphold Accredited Quality and Feed/Food Safety Standards, including BRC, ISO 9001, FEMAS, and UFAS.
- Liaise with suppliers to verify the accuracy of quality and technical information.
- Prepare for and facilitate external audits of the company.
- Draft and distribute documentation to customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Respond promptly to data requests from customers, including questionnaires and technical inquiries.
- Review supplier documentation, including COFAs, and conduct risk assessments.
- Create and verify specifications.
Ideal candidate:
- Bachelors Degree of relevant discipline
- At least 3 years experience working within a Quality related role coming from pharma, food or of similar discipline.
- Experience of ISO 9001/2015, ISO 22000, FEMAS, UFAS and/or BRC Standards.
- Experience conducting internal audits.
- Ability to multi task and strong attention to detail.
