Job Description: Quality Controller

Location: Meath, Ireland

Company: Leading food manufacturing company

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Quality Controller to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Food Science and some exposure to a food manufacturing environment. This role is crucial for maintaining our high standards and ensuring our products meet the stringent requirements of our BRC-approved site.

This role is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

Please note, you must hold a valid working visa to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality checks on products and processes on site
• Ensure compliance with BRC standards and other regulatory requirements
• Identify and report any quality issues or non-conformances
• Collaborate with the production team to implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate records of quality checks and inspections

Requirements:

• Degree in Food Science or a related field
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred
• Own mode of transport (site is not accessible by public transport)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Familiarity with BRC standards is an advantage
