Job Title: Quality Supervisor

Location: Meath

Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Supervisor to join our client's team. The Quality Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet and exceed regulatory standards, customer expectations, and internal quality benchmarks. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of quality control and assurance processes within the production facility.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes, equipment, and finished products to identify and address any quality issues or deviations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and R&D, to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and compliance documentation.
  • Monitor and analyse quality performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for process optimization.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of raw materials and ingredients used in production meets specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and mentor team members to achieve departmental goals.
