Recruitment Consultant - Business Support Roles (Export-Led Manufacturing Clients)

About Us: Next Generation Recruitment is a leading recruitment agency in Dublin, specialising in the life sciences and food industry sectors. We pride ourselves on our professional, approachable, and forward-thinking approach to recruitment. We are looking for a dynamic Recruitment Consultant to join our team, specialising in business support roles for our export-led manufacturing clients.

Role Overview: As a Recruitment Consultant, you will specialise in placing business support roles within our export-led manufacturing clients. This is a 360-degree recruitment role on a warm desk, with a healthy mix of both candidate delivery and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

Candidate Delivery (70%):

  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for business support roles such as IT admin, HR, admin, marketing, and other support positions.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with candidates, providing an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Ensure all candidate interactions reflect the company's professional and approachable brand voice.

Business Development (30%):

  • Engage with existing clients to understand their recruitment needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Develop new business opportunities within the export-led manufacturing sector.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and build a strategic approach to win new business.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and establish connections.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement business development strategies.


  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant, ideally within the business support sector.
  • Strong understanding of the export-led manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and results-oriented with a strong business acumen.
  • Experience in a 360-degree recruitment role, with a balance of candidate delivery and business development.
  • Familiarity with recruitment software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
