A leading global healthcare manufacturing  that has significant manufacturing operations both in Ireland and across the global has recently gone through significant transformation and expansion in the manufacturing plants at local , regional and global level due to increased global demand lean manufacturing transformation throughout global operations . As a result they are looking to hire a Senior Manufacturing Manager for their manufacturing plant in Ireland.

• This role will report into a Senior Operations manager and will be focused on managing cross functional teams in excess of 200 headcount within a manufacturing area.
• Another focus of this role will be to ensure that operational excellence and continuous improvement practice are fully integrated within manufacturing operations.
• This position will also require the individual to ensure that manufacturing capacity is managed effectively to ensure customer demand is met.
• Ideally this position will champion continuous improvement projects to ensure cost savings target and productivity targets are met and exceeded.

Ideally degree qualified with 8-10 years plus manufacturing experience ideally within high volume manufacturing environments ideally within healthcare , medical device  or electronic assembly .

Strong people management and leadership within a manufacturing environment is essential.

Lean manufacturing experience is required.
