Senior NPD Executive - FMCG

Are you an NPD Technologist with a proven track record of bringing products from idea generation to launch looking to move the next big step in your career? Then this could be the right opportunity for you! My client, a leading food manufacturing company based in Dublin North, is looking for a Senior NPD Executive to join their NPD team. You will be responsible for identifying new products and opportunities for the business and for customer own brand. You will develop these opportunities into commercial products in line with a pre-agreed brief, communicate concepts and opportunities to key customers and manage the successful launch of projects from concept to market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing all aspects of NPD on a day to day basis from idea generation to post launch review
• Sourcing new raw materials from existing & new suppliers in line with company sourcing policy while delivering innovation with on trend ingredients
• Developing new packaging and pack formats with packaging supply partners
• Collaborating with designers in order to maximise key selling points of any new products pack design
• Engaging with other departments, suppliers and customers on a daily and weekly
• Delivering NPD within commercial targets
• Having strong awareness of consumer trends and working closely with marketing to improve customer insight
• Working closely with Head of Innovation to achieve an innovation pipeline for the site
• Preparing samples and presentation packs

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years' previous experience in a similar role
• A proven track record of product to shelf
• Experience dealing with the 5 major Multiples
• Third Level Qualification in Culinary Arts/Food Innovation would be beneficial
• Demonstrate a capability to manage people
• Track record of bringing great packaging concepts to market
• Full Driver's license
