Senior Planning Manager
Location: Munster (Onsite - 5 Days per Week)
Sector: Global High-Volume Healthcare Manufacturing

A global high-volume healthcare manufacturer with a significant international footprint is seeking to appoint a Site Planning Manager to lead planning operations at its Munster-based manufacturing campus. This is a critical leadership role within a complex, fast-paced production environment, responsible for aligning site planning activity with customer demand, inventory strategy and operational capacity.

The Role

The Site Planning Manager will lead the end-to-end planning function on site, managing the local planning team while driving an effective S&OP process. The role requires close engagement with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement and Distribution to ensure optimal production scheduling, inventory control and service performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership and development of the site planning team

  • Ownership and continuous improvement of the monthly S&OP process

  • Oversight of production scheduling to maximise capacity utilisation

  • Inventory management across finished goods and raw materials

  • Monitoring and improvement of service metrics including order fill and backorders

  • Support of new product introductions and launch readiness

  • Driving planning-related system enhancements and process improvements

This is a highly visible role within the site leadership structure and requires strong operational judgement and stakeholder engagement capability.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in production planning within a high-volume manufacturing environment

  • Experience gained within life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceutical or FMCG sectors is strongly preferred

  • Proven people management and leadership experience, with the ability to develop and performance-manage a planning team

  • Degree-qualified or professionally certified
