Company Overview: My client is a leading global biopharmaceutical manufacturer with multiple manufacturing sites worldwide. The company has recently undergone significant expansion through acquisitions and the global launch of innovative products. This growth has driven a substantial increase in global demand for their existing product portfolio. To support this expansion, the Cork-based manufacturing site is increasing its capacity and output.
Role Summary: They are seeking a Supply Chain Director to manage end-to-end supply chain processes at their Cork site. The successful candidate will ensure that supply chain operations meet increased demand and align with the company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Planning: Oversee the entire planning process, ensuring that the S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution) processes are robust and agile for effective inventory management.
New Product Introduction (NPI): Collaborate with quality and operations teams to manage all NPIs into the manufacturing site, ensuring all global product launch dates are met.
Supply Chain Management: Ensure that all supply chain key deliverables and targets are met by managing end-to-end supply chain processes on site.
Continuous Improvement: Sponsor and lead continuous improvement projects throughout site supply chain operations, ensuring compliance and synergy with the site's lean program.
Experience Required:
Experience: 10-15 years of supply chain experience, ideally within a life science manufacturing environment.
