Job Title: Technical and Compliance Manager

Industry: Infant Formula

Location: Ireland (Remote)

Travel: 20-25% across Europe

Purpose of Role:
Reporting to the CEO, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Management, R&D, and Quality Teams. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that all company-manufactured products comply with safety, quality, and legal standards. This includes maintaining and monitoring the company's and customers' quality assurance systems, food safety audits, and HACCP compliance.

Please note you must reside in Ireland and have a valid working visa to apply for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring company compliance with FDA, GMP and global manufacturing standards associated with Infant Formula manufacturing
  • Provide technical leadership during co-packer audits and act as the quality liaison
  • Support the expanding R&D department
  • Manage high-value technical projects
  • Oversee clinical trials and technical work related to PER, GRAS, FDA, and Health Canada submissions.
  • Supervise stability testing and FDA audits
  • Lead microbiological investigations
  • Manage high-value technical projects.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditations, including clean label and heavy metals

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Technical/Compliance lead role is essential, ability to lead FDA audits is a necessity
  • Background in infant formula, infant nutrition, or dairy powder products is a necessity
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a GMP manufacturing site
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive work attitude and high productivity
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload with minimal supervision
  • Experience in food safety, HACCP, and cGMP in a high-care environment
  • Ability to read, interpret, and implement policies and regulations from the UK, US, EU, China, and Codex regions.
  • Experience in the manufacture of infant formulas, spray-drying, and dairy products
  • Experience in implementing UK and EU food safety and compliance regulations.
  • Strong working knowledge of GMP regulations in the EU, US, and other relevant global markets.
