Job Title: Technical/ Quality Manager - Food Manufacturing

Job Description: As a Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the food manufacturing processes adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety. Based in Waterford, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain robust quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee quality assurance procedures to guarantee compliance with industry regulations (BRC) and internal standards
• Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
• Collaborate with production teams to establish and maintain quality control measures throughout the entire production cycle
• Manage and lead a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring the quality of raw materials and ingredients
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality, implementing preventive measures where necessary
• Provide training to staff on quality standards, ensuring a comprehensive understanding across all levels of the organization

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field
• Proven experience in a quality management role within the food manufacturing industry
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment
