Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Contract Utilities Engineer to join our team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of utility systems, supporting production facilities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of utility systems including HVAC, water, steam, and compressed air systems.- Conduct regular inspections and audits of utility systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support production and facility operations.- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to utility systems promptly.- Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability projects to improve efficiency.- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations and standards.- Prepare and maintain documentation, including operational reports and maintenance logs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering or a related field.- Proven experience in utility systems management within an industrial or manufacturing setting.- Strong knowledge of HVAC, water, steam, and compressed air systems.- Familiarity with regulatory standards and safety protocols.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
