Warehouse Manager - North Dublin

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to manage, oversee and co-ordinate the daily warehousing activities for our client's team. You will manage the warehouse team and resources to ensure a prompt and quality service is delivered to our customers.

The responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:

• Planning, co-ordinating and monitoring the receipt and dispatch of goods
• Ensure that staff are correctly utilised to achieve the daily operational requirements
• Ensure the team are trained and competent to carry out tasks and develop a multi-skilled workforce
• Foster an environment where all activities are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with Health and Safety rules
• Proactively seek solutions to operational problems and resolve queries as they arise
• Ensure warehouse team are managing stock movements on our ERP system to maintain inventory accuracy
• Assist the development and sustainment of a high performance culture of continuous improvement in the warehouse
• Maintain a suite of key performance indicators and provide routine management information on warehouse activities

Essential Skills for the role:

• 5 plus years warehouse management experience
• Innovative, forward thinking, able to think 'outside the box' and generate new opportunities for improvement
• ERP experience a plus but not essential
• Lean or Six Sigma knowledge and experience is ideal
• Self-motivated and hard working
• Good organisational and time management skills
