Our well-established and rapidly expanding food production company, known for its excellence in quality and service, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in Arklow, Co. Wicklow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Collaborate with the Head of Logistics to oversee the daily operations of a bustling warehouse. Adapt and coordinate activities to meet evolving business needs and priorities.
• Team Management: Drive warehouse performance through effective hiring, training, motivation, and discipline. Support and develop supervisors and operatives to achieve their best.
• Health & Safety Oversight: Enforce robust health and safety practices, ensuring a clean and orderly work environment. Champion a safety-first culture across the warehouse team.
• Training & Development: Ensure all warehouse staff are proficiently trained and competent in their roles, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
• Inventory Control: Monitor and manage stock levels efficiently to ensure accurate and timely availability of products.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team within a warehouse setting.
• Hands-On Work Ethic: A proactive, energetic, and enthusiastic approach to managing tasks and resolving issues.
• Exceptional Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Adept at identifying issues and implementing cost-effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• FMCG Experience: Previous experience in managing goods in/out within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with warehouse systems, including experience with scanning systems and voice picking technology, is advantageous.
• Commitment to Excellence: A solid understanding of cost control and performance maximization within a warehouse context.
