An established global pharmaceutical with multiple global manufacturing facilities have recently established a virtual global supply chain and have recently launched and developed multiple branded products . As part of this new external manufacturing structure they are currently developing a pipe-line of innovator products in bio-pharma and they need to recruit new global technical operations team to develop and launch biotechnical products into global markets. As a result this life science organization are looking to recruit an Associate Director of Operational Excellence to join the expanding external manufacturing group.

· This role will report into a Senior Director and will be focused developing an implementing a business excellence platform across all functions within the global external manufacturing group.

· A large focus of role will be to develop value stream processes across all current and upcoming developing products with the global supply chain and to lead initiatives across all functions within the external manufacturing group.

· This role will require the individual to further develop a road map for the operational excellence for the external manufacturing group to achieve best in class standards across all functions as they expand their global supply chain.

· This position will require the individual to lead multiple of operational excellence projects across the virtual supply chain and to ensure appropriate controls and measurement systems are in place.

Experience Required

Degree qualification ideally within technical or supply chain with 8-10 years business excellence ideally within the life science sector.

Global or Regional experience with a lean/six sigma is strongly preferred.
