Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for a Project Support Engineer (Asset Management) to support the delivery of a major capital project within a regulated manufacturing environment.

This role offers excellent exposure to the full project lifecycle, providing both technical and strategic development opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with asset lifecycle and project teams, contributing to key project deliverables and supporting long-term asset management strategies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing support to a capital project throughout its lifecycle
  • Support asset lifecycle management activities during project execution
  • Assist in asset creation and data management
  • Facilitate asset criticality assessments and support maintenance strategy development
  • Review engineering documentation and asset data for accuracy and completeness (e.g., P&IDs, SLDs)
  • Support the upload and management of asset data within a CMMS system (e.g., Maximo or equivalent)
  • Contribute to the development and tracking of project KPIs and metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved
  • Ensure all activities are carried out in line with safety and compliance standards

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree (Level 8) in Mechanical, Chemical, or Biochemical Engineering
  • Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., pharmaceutical) is advantageous
  • Exposure to project execution or project management is desirable
  • Knowledge of maintenance and reliability programs is beneficial
  • Experience with CMMS systems (Maximo or equivalent preferred)
  • Ability to interpret and work with engineering documentation
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment
