The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly established procurement structure as part of a wider group procurement transformation programme.

The role of Indirect Procurement Manager will play a key part in shaping and delivering the future of procurement across the organisation.

You will be responsible for driving value, efficiency and innovation across a range of indirect categories, with a particular focus on technology and professional services. Working within a dynamic and evolving procurement function, you will contribute to building new ways of working, strengthening supplier partnerships and ensuring that procurement delivers tangible benefits to the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement category strategies across a broad range of indirect spend areas, including technology, professional services, HR, facilities and related services.

  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to align sourcing strategies with organisational goals.

  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to inform strategic decision making.

  • Lead supplier negotiations, ensuring value creation, cost efficiency and strong contractual outcomes.

  • Manage supplier relationships to drive performance, innovation and resilience.

  • Identify risks in the supply chain and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure all procurement activity is fully compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

  • 5-7 years plus experience in indirect procurement, ideally with exposure to technology and professional services.

  • A track record of developing and implementing category strategies that deliver measurable benefits.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience of market and spend analysis.

  • Commercial acumen and strong negotiation experience.

  • A procurement qualification (CIPS or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.

You will be part of a newly created procurement structure within Group Procurement, designed to support a step-change in how the organisation manages its supply base. This transformation programme is reshaping procurement into a strategic function that enables long-term value creation and efficiency across the business.
