Quality Engineer - Growth to Management Role (Wexford)

An established steel manufacturing company in Wexford is offering a hands-on opportunity for an ambitious quality professional with 3-5 years' experience to grow into a site-level quality leadership role.

This position offers full support and mentorship, making it ideal for someone looking to step into management over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Support quality engineering and systems activities across the site.
• Assist in maintaining and improving ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 systems.
• Participate in internal and supplier audits and support CAPA activities.
• Assist in creating and maintaining risk documentation and test validation.
• Engage with suppliers to support resolution of quality issues.
• Support document control, compliance monitoring, and internal quality reviews.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and support quality-related projects.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years' experience in a quality or compliance role in manufacturing or a regulated industry.
• Third-level qualification in Engineering, Science or a related discipline.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 (additional exposure to ISO 14001 / 45001 a plus).
• Experience with CAPA, audit prep, and documentation processes.
• Strong communication skills and a desire to develop into a leadership role.
