A leading global OEM manufacturers that has an ever expanding portfolio of products supplying into a wide range of sectors including aviation , health-care , FMCG and automotive has global headquarters based in Dublin . This global headquarters has a global procurement function that strategically manages all indirect procurement and services . This organisation has grown significantly through acquisition over the last few years and they are continuing to grow their global sourcing teams in Dublin . As a result they are looking to recruit a Global Category Lead for professional services to join their global team.
- This role will report in a Senior Director global procurement and will be focused primarily on strategic procurement of professional services focusing particularly on travel and fleet categories.
- This position will require the individual to work closely with internal global stakeholders to access current and ongoing needs across travel and fleet categories.
- As this organisation has grown significantly through acquisition a large part of this position will be to focus on supplier rationalisation and developing strategic partnerships with global vendors.
- As the organisation continues to grow this role will be focused on developing the most cost effective strategies for professional services across travel and fleet global categories.
Global category procurement experience in travel and fleet is essential.
