Global Supply Chain Technical Process Writer
My client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Global Supply Chain Technical Process Writer. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating, reviewing, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for supply chain processes on a global scale. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain operations, GxP principles, and excellent writing skills, with the ability to translate complex processes into clear, concise, and user-friendly documents.
Responsibilities:
Develop, write, and maintain detailed documentation for global supply chain processes, including SOPs, work instructions, process maps, and training materials
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain managers, process owners, and subject matter experts, to gather information and ensure accuracy of documentation
Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
Review and update existing documentation to reflect changes in processes, systems, and regulations
Create visual aids such as flowcharts and diagrams to enhance clarity and usability
Manage document control processes, including version control, approvals, and distribution
Conduct regular audits of supply chain documentation to ensure consistency and compliance
Provide training and support to supply chain staff on the use and interpretation of documentation
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management and documentation
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Technical Writing, or related field
3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, process documentation, or technical writing
Strong knowledge of global supply chain processes and best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with documentation tools and software such as Microsoft Office, Visio, and document management systems
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is an advantage
