Capital Project Engineer

Job Title: CAPEX Project Engineer
Location: North Cork (on-site, 5 days/week)
Contract: 12-month Fixed Term

A well-known food manufacturer in North Cork is seeking a CAPEX Project Engineer to lead capital projects from concept through to delivery. The successful candidate will manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of capital projects across the site

• Scope and deliver engineering solutions aligned with operational and strategic goals

• Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including production, quality, engineering, and finance

• Manage project timelines, budgets and contractor relationships

• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and quality standards throughout project delivery

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline

• 5+ years' experience managing large-scale capital projects in a manufacturing environment

• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex budgets

• Strong understanding of project planning tools and methodologies

• Food or FMCG industry experience preferred
