Senior Logistics Co-Ordinator - Food Manufacturing (Kildare)

A well-established food manufacturing business in Kildare is seeking a Senior Logistics Co-Ordinator to join their dynamic supply chain team.

This is a key role supporting the Logistics Manager, managing relationships across operations, sales, carriers, and traders. It's well-suited to someone with strong industry knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee inventory and supply chain activity to meet demand

• Manage sales contracts, credit limits, and timing of product movement

• Develop demand plans and liaise with operations and sales teams

• Ensure smooth communication with carriers, suppliers, and trading partners

• Monitor and improve logistics documentation and compliance

• Investigate new market opportunities and support approval processes

• Lead logistics projects and cost-saving initiatives

• Act as a link between logistics co-ordinators and the Logistics Manager

• Train and support logistics team members

• Support the Technical Manager with Quality Management System upkeep

What You'll Need:

• Minimum 7 years' experience in logistics within a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Strong background in supply chain, inventory, and demand planning

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and logistics data systems

• People management experience is highly desirable
