Maintenance Manager

Location: Portlaoise, Co. Laois

Hours: Full-time, On-site, Monday to Friday, 8-4:30pm

A leading multinational manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead their maintenance team and ensure the reliable operation of all plant equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the maintenance department, driving equipment reliability and minimising downtime
• Oversee preventive maintenance programmes and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage budgets, resources, and spare parts inventory
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and environmental regulations
• Provide technical expertise across electrical, mechanical, and process control systems
• Support and deliver site projects in collaboration with project management teams

Requirements

• 3-5+ years in a maintenance management role
• 6-8+ years' experience in manufacturing/production
• Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs, BMS, and SCADA systems
• Skilled in both mechanical and electrical maintenance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP/CRM systems, and CMMS software
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to be on call for emergencies
