QC Instrumentation Engineer - 12-Month Contract

Location: Dublin (On-site)

We are seeking a QC Instrumentation Engineer to join a leading biopharma client on a 12-month contract. This role offers the opportunity to work in a world-class pharmaceutical organisation producing cutting-edge medicines.

You will support the purchase, qualification, calibration and lifecycle management of QC laboratory instrumentation, ensuring compliance with GMP standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead instrument purchase, qualification, calibration, and lifecycle management.
• Oversee calibration schedules, maintenance, and investigations.
• Review and approve qualification protocols and related documentation.
• Collaborate with QC, QA, and validation teams to deliver new equipment projects.
• Drive compliance with data integrity and regulatory standards (21 CFR 11/EU Annex 11)
• Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• BSc in a scientific discipline (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a GMP laboratory, with instrument qualification expertise.
• Strong understanding of biopharma analytical platforms (e.g. HPLC/UPLC, CE, SDS-PAGE, Biacore).
• Knowledge of data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
