Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

This is a rare opportunity to shape and lead a newly established group procurement function within a dynamic and growing business. With responsibility for managing spend in excess of €30 million, you will play a pivotal role in redefining how procurement delivers value across the organisation.

As Senior Procurement Manager, you'll drive strategic sourcing, commercial operations, and supplier performance across specialist subconsultant services. Reporting to senior leadership, your remit will be to build the procurement infrastructure from the ground up-developing systems, policies, and governance while actively leading on high-value supplier negotiations.

You will also lead and grow a new team of site-based mechanical and electrical professionals who support project teams in delivering operational excellence.

Key responsibilities:

• Establish and scale a group procurement function aligned to strategic and operational needs.
• Lead procurement activity across a diverse €30m+ spend portfolio.
• Oversee vendor selection, negotiation, onboarding, and performance management.
• Build and lead a new site-based engineering team.
• Develop and implement procurement policy, compliance standards, and process efficiencies.
• Provide commercial decision support to senior stakeholders.

About you:

• Proven background in strategic procurement, ideally in engineering, construction, or technical services.
• Strong experience managing large-scale supplier relationships and commercial contracts.
• A confident leader, capable of building high-performing teams and driving cultural change.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement governance, contract law, and compliance.
• ERP or procurement platform experience preferred.
• Professional certification (e.g. CIPS) a plus.
